Seve Ballesteros-designed Buenavista Golf makes full use of the natural curves and volcanic features of its rugged shoreline, while in the lush north, dazzling tropical flora emblazons the fairways of the Real Club de Golf de Tenerife Spain's second oldest golf course.
The sport's biggest names have long been associated with Tenerife golf. Famous course designer, Donald Steel styled the spectacular Amarilla Golf and Country Club. He's the man to blame for the challenging 5th hole, requiring a nerve-wracking drive straight over the waves.
Right next door you'll find Golf del Sur, a 27-hole course that played host to the first Tenerife Ladies Open in 2002.
